The IPGSA provides both games and tournaments within their league. Coaches from the almost 200 teams will meet on February 20 to schedule games with each other to fill in between the four big tournaments that are scheduled throughout the season.

Cost/player

The cost for the league is determined by how many games and tournaments the coaches and teams decide to play, however the average cost/player will be about $450 depending on how many girls are on each team. This cost would cover 12 games and all four of the spring tournaments (dates and location are on the IPGSA website), team equipment, 1-2 practices/week and indoor practice time since Spring weather can be unpredictable.

Additional Costs

Players are expected to provide their own helmets (with face cage), bats, gloves, batting gloves, bags, cleats, softball pants, and belts.

The cost of jerseys, socks, and visors is included in the team fee.
