Fall AYL 2024

Athletes registering for fall AA softball can expect to play 10-14 regular season games on Saturdays/Sundays from August through September, and a single elimination tournament at the end of the season. Practices will begin in mid-July. The practice schedule will be determined by the head coach's availability. Athletes can register individually and will be assigned to a team. If you would like to be placed with a specific coach or other players please indicate so in the registration form. 

AGE

Ages 6-14 years old.

Age determination: 12/31/2023

Teams: 8U (coach pitch), 10U, 12U, 14U

When

Practices will begin in mid-July. Games will begin in August and end with a single elimination tournament in mid-September.

Cost

$375/athlete

Our costs have increased this year due to the county increasing the cost to rent fields and supplies to maintain fields.

Where

Practices will take place at elementary school fields in Castle Rock and Sedalia.

Games will be held in Castle Rock, Parker, and Highlands Ranch.

When

Practices will begin mid-July, and games will begin at the beginning of August. The season will conclude with a single elimination tournament at the end of September.

Practices

Practices will begin mid-July. They will occur 2x/week at 90 minutes per practices throughout the season. The practice schedule will be determined by the head coach's availability. Most practices will take place at elementary schools in Castle Rock or Sedalia.

Games

There will be 10-14 games throughout the regular season with one (1) game in season ending championship. There will be no make-up games. There will be a single game or a double header every Saturday beginning in August through September, 2024. Some games could be scheduled on Sundays after 12 p.m.

Uniforms

Jerseys, visors, and socks will be available for purchase at time of registration.

Athletes are required to purchase black softball pants, black belts, and all equipment (more information below) individually.

Additional Costs

Players are required to provide their own equipment: helmet with a face cage, bat, glove, batting gloves, bag, and cleats.

*no metal cleats allowed.
